Prices are higher at that time and it is advisable to book in advance as it is the peak season. I shopped around and got the Expat for 1490 baht a night. It has a pool and is central, close to Bangla.

Check out the hotel section on this forum, send e-mails asking for details of availablity and confirmation of prices advertised. If you want to take a guest back to the hotel room, get an e-mail stating that the hotel is guest friendly and there is no joiner fee (if possible).
