I haven't disappeared altogether, I am keeping my forum name and maybe I was a bit hasty in deleting the Football Competition thread, but nothing has changed as far as I am concerned with the comp. I am 100% committed to seeing it through to the end and hope that nobody feels that just because of certain events, that they need to take sides. I have noticed a lot less entries have been submitted this week in relation to normal, i.e. by Wednesday lunchtime usually more than half the entries have been submitted, but at the moment I have only received 12 and one of them is a bit suspect to say the least. Regardless of what I do or who I do it with, I don't see how this should affect the fun that we have been having up until now and hopefully shall continue having for a long long time. If however, you feel that you don't want to continue - just let me know.

I can't win this one, but I will say that I feel that they have over stepped the mark on this occasion and I don't really want to go in to it all, but they deleted posts needlessly in my opinion.

I did the read the posts and I deliberately worded them in the way I did. I can't see how any of them broke any rules and I just can't see any justification for them being deleted.
For those of you who have met me, you will know that I am not some lunatic on the loose who goes around cracking heads for the sheer hell of it. I'll leave you to describe me in your own words, but I know I am not a bad or evil person. I have said on several occasions before, I am very direct and have a tendency to say things that people just don't like hearing. It's not the wording that's the problem, it's just that I have the ability to hit the target. That could be seen as a bad thing, but at times it's very handy and is a great tool for me when I do my job. You should spend a day with me some time, listening to all the b0ll0cks that I have to put up with and then at the end of the day, it's still my fault !! So I've learnt to look after myself, talk very direct and get results. Maybe it's overlapping in to my social life ?? Take it or leave it, I'm not trying to force anybody to like me. I have read the comments above and for BM's to post nice comments like they have, after only knowing me through this forum is great. I also thought it was great to see dawsey's recent post about meeting up with SafeAss (Alf), had things not taken the turn they have, you will no doubt have seen one of my trademark comments "It's always nice to see a success story".
As far as I am concerned, apart from me not posting, nothing else has changed. I'm still the same guy I was before and will continue to be in the future. I don't like the actions and decisions that some of my mates make, but I still talk to them, I realise that they have their opinions and just because I don't agree with them, doesn't mean I have to change anything.
So come on guys, get those football entries in and let have some fun. I'll be around, a lot more than you think and if you have experience of using chat rooms, then you might understand what I mean when I say that I plan to do a lot more "lofting" from now on.
