Having A Good Time
I think we can all agree that you can have a "good time" in Thailand on very little money. When I was in the North I spent about $10 a day. It was fun and easy. But...
Patong is Patong. It is a bit like saying "How much money do I need to go to America?" and "How much money will I spend in Disneyland?". As the Thai people say "up 2 U".
My own experience is that 7000 Baht (£100) is sufficent for a great time if you don't go mad. If you do then you will need a lot more!!!
But having said that I am sure it is possible to go to Patong and not spend much money. I just have not ever quite succeeded...
