We talked about this before you and i, and we both like these kind of hotels, of the 3 hotels you ask about i have only stayed at shangri-la 2 times and its great, but i dont think they are much better than westinn, maybe a littel but not much, i have talked to others about Peninsule and they al say its better than shangri-la but the location is not the best "other side of the river".

The Orinental should be one of the best, but very hard to get a tg with you in, even if you come together they will give you a hard time, if you not are married to the girl, a least that what i have been told.

So all in all i would go for the Peninsule if you dont care for the location, but shangri-la a second, close to the bts, and they have a great pool area, much bette,r than let say westinn.

BTW when i come back to crimbo i will stay at Westinn again a realy great hotel much better than JW, but JW have the best location.

ill probably just end up staying at the westin. i really love that hotel. i just wanted to try something new. but knwoing me, ill be roaming sukhumvit so might as well stay there!
