What baffles me is they just killed the pig and there is loads of good real meat but its the rough bits they enjoy.. Same with wifeys sister.. Big fish on the table and she wants to eat its eyes and crunch the skull for the briain.. The actual flesh of the fish she is not bothered about !!!!

I like pig intestines and especially the stomach, but like we prepare them in Belgium. They have to be well cleaned and cooked with spices.
So frog legs with garlic butter are OK also.
And you also have liver, kidneys and even cow's brains.
I know they use the cow's stomach to prepare sausages. And what do you think is in black pudding.
I once went eating in a good French restaurant in Phuket and ordered snails with garlic butter (escargots de Bourgogne) for starter and raw meat (steack tartare) after? You should have seen the eyes of my Thai companion.
By the way, the best fish on a cod is at the head.
