Thats a good price for the value pack. I hadn't seen one for much less than $200 here, even when they are used.

hi!

a friend told me a modchip is not needed to run homebrew or counterfeit software on the console. its all done by a bug in a firmware. the firmware version has to be 1.50 to use this bug and play games of the memorystick. as far as i have read all new psp units are shipped with a new firmware 2.0 or even 2.01 which cant play software on the ms anymore. alldoh some days ago a "firmware-donwngrader" was released to the copy scene that allows to downgrade from verision 2.0 firmware to 1.50 again which makes it possible again to play games or homebrew.
