My reckoning is in agreement with IJ, as all thais are hopeless at saving and love material posessions, 10k probably included mummas divvy. By the way her mate had two farang sending her 10k each and she still freelanced.

My guesstimate would be about 6,000 baht per month.
Had a freelancer last July tell me she had 3 sponsors, laughed about it, then sent me an SMS 3 weeks ago asking me for money as she was broke.....unbelievable.
