Lets say she earns 5k at a job then IMHO its fair to top her up 8 - 10k per month.. This way she has some money, maintains some face in that she is being looked after, can survive ok, etc..
Cutting this too close (perhaps to test her) and expecting her to scrape by or live on buttons and pretty shells can start resentment, friction, her looking for other opportunities, etc all early during a difficult stage in your relationship.. Fater time this should start to sort itself out a bit easier.. Dont niggle it hard in the beggining..
Those or obviously city / patong amounts.. Up in Issan living on 8 - 10k total is not hard..
