Well Burg, you have a point of sorts. However I came to Los in Sept for exactly the same reasons as SteveT. Marriage break up, totally out of the blue for me; my job contract ends in Dec and at this stage there is nothing on the horizon. I too basically came to relax, and on an impulse, but fell in love with Los and of course the proverbial bg.
Productivity at work has slowed drastically as I read the threads, and I think SteveT hit the nail on the head in describing it as "fever". The other problem is that there are few with whom you can discuss all this and who understand - one guy at work for me, as he has been to Los many times, but thats all. As I am a teacher by profession, discussing one's activities in the satffroom would not go down all that well. (Whoops bad choice of phrase!) So I totally understand what SteveT wrote and i know exactly where he is coming from.
