Well, apart from Rickets but you only have to go to Rochdale for that!
I think it is the slower stuff that gets to you eventually in the Far East countries. I suppose that's why they call them 'Tropical' diseases!! We always got checked (A TDI - Tropical Disease Investigation) when coming back from Brunei (Borneo -Malaysia -Philippines-ish) Most of the stuff the lads came back with was parasitic (Intestinal worms or larvae under the skin) and cured with a good hot bleach bath or minor surgery.
Still worth keeping the jabs up-to-speed IMHO especially if you can get your employers to pay for them!!
