You might joke but exactly that happened to me last year... Had gone off the rails for a few months after losing wifey and was getting home most mornings at dawn, waking up and starting again.. Obviously feeling like crap but figured it was the wages of sin..
Then one day slept for 2 days straight and couldnt get out of bed.. Checked my temps and had a 104 fever.. Turns out I had got a Typhoid infection during Song Gran and drunk my way through it for 10 weeks..
