750euro is a good price for Lufthansa, They are a very good airline, Probably the best I have flown with, And Frankfurt is a really good airport aswell, I normally just stroll on up to Mcdonalds have something to eat and a few smokes, And read a book to pass the time there, But I think you will pass the time pretty quick between the PSP and books, Ipod etc..etc..
As Coolhand said Lufthansa are part of the same group of Airlines as Thai Airways on
www.Staralliance.com so you should be able to book a connecting flight straight into Phuket on
www.Thaiairways.com
Or you can always just clear immagration in Bkk and book a flight with either
www.bangkokair.com or
www.airasia.com which are a lot cheaper than Thai.
