Cost me a 20 minute phone call to get them to confirm it had actually gone to the right account. Eventually got the transfer confirmed by my GF TEN days later ! If that's their "Express" service they can stuff it up their arses. Previously I used the normal transfer service, it got there within 5 days and only cost me £14.
I recently used NatWest and asked them to send 5,000baht to a certain young lady in Patong. It eventually cost me £18 but at the time they charged £36 and had actually sent the equivalent of £5,000, rather than debiting my account for the £ equivalent of 5,000baht It took a week to get my money back and I'm still not sure if they recovered all their money, as when I telephoned the young lady to tell her about the mistake, she squealed with delight and the line went dead !! Their problem
