I wouldnt even like to hazard a guess as to how much rent the Central hairdressers pay, probably in excess of 200,000 baht a month I'm guessing.

I dont understand how some of these businesses stay open, Phuja in Central for example - I think they pay 1,000,000 baht rent a month - Yet I've never seen more than 30 people in there at one time.

I think the best sort of business to start would be something to support the local real-estate or bar scene, perhaps importing something difficult to get hold of (not drugs)

Choose something you enjoy (not drugs) and just aim to make a living from it, if its very successful and actually makes some money then its a bonus.
