I have seen a map and noticed the areas have names like ''old town'' etc.
I certainly don't want to end up on the outskirts if I can help it, in a hotel that is too far away and a pain in the a$$ to travel to & from.

Any info will be appreciated

Hi BFB,

I have stayed at the Royal Princess on Chan Klang Rd right in the middle of the night market..............seemed like a pretty good hotel to me....

I think I paid about BHT1000 but I just chcked it out on a website and it seems that it is double that as of this week due to high season

Good luck with you visit................it's a great time to be there
