in nyc, you can buy beer in pretty much any store, bodegas. there is only an 8 hour period 4am-12pm on sunday that you ant buy beer. and i cant tell you how many drunk nights i have hurled racial slurs at the arab or indian behind the counter at 4:05 am for not selling me beer. something along the lines of "go back to your own country" im not proud of that at all. but that was in my less mature years
