Im flying to LOS with Emirates in 1 weeks time from Birmingham (Uk) via Dubai to Bangkok. Not only was it the cheapest flight from Brum that I could find on ALL of the the major Uk travel websites, but it also was the most convenient and 'quickest'. Ok, so I could have found a cheaper and quicker direct flight from London, but it would have cost me more and took longer for me me to get to London, so it has evened itself out.

I have also read many positive comments on this website (and others) about Emirates which helped towards my decision to choose them. I did a lot of reading on the net before booking my flight, and struggled to find a bad word about this airline. If you are flying from a regional UK airport, I think you will struggle to find a more convenient, cheap and recommended airline at the moment.

Also, I read on the www.airlinequality.com website that they won an award for the best inflight entertainment system last year which is always important on a boring long haul flight!
