Eros.

Coming to live in thailand can be very diffiicult, unless you have capital for business, which under new legislation is no small amount.

Marriage to a Thai gets you pretty much ZERO rights.

No right of abode, no right to work, the only thing I get is a one year visa renewable without leaving the Kingdom, but that also goes hand in hand with my Work Permit which is organised by a large multi national company with huge local clout. Doing it on your own if you even get the chance is a pain...right Nicke?

Your best bet is to take her home. She will get rights in Belgium. Getting visa's is no where near as hard as people make out, it's all about doing it properly, correct paperwork. Obviously I've never done any paperwork with your embassy, but mine is fine if you comply correctly with all their questions.

Proof of a 3 year relationship will go a long way, produce correspondance, phone bills, photo's. Proof of her employment will also go a long weay, ensure documentation of that is shown to the embassy.

Good Luck. If you have a good one you will never regret it.

Whether you have a good one is your call, make sure you are sure before you tread this path.
