I'd like to think that we will be a lot closer than 20 or 30points from the All Blacks. If Englands forwards can get enough possession, as against the Aussies, and this time the backs turn the possession into points, then I fancy England will be a lot closer. We still won't win it though
At the moment nobody can touch the New Zealanders, they are head and shoulders No 1 side in the world. But are they peaking too soon, the World Cup is still a way off. And for all the great sides they have produced in the past its a long time since they held the World Cup (1987)
I have great admiration for the way the ABs play the game, and it seems other teams follow their way eventually. For such a small country, population wise, rugby union is a way of life to them.
I'd be interested in knowing how many ABs would be in a World XV picked today. I suspect at least 10, thats how good they are
