Not long after he released this song, His was killed extremely strange circumstances, In a hotel by a black women of all people but nobody ever believed this and the women in question was let go shortly afterwards...

I remember wathing a series of documentaries on Norwegian TV this autumn about the History of Soul music,one of the episodes was mainly about Sam Cooke,people around him did get a bad feeling about this song...like it was the end of something...and like you said..shortly after he was murdered under strange circumstances
