Under Laporte,they had a great 6Nations and were just pipped by Wales. They have started their internationals with a bang this season and will be very dangerous. I can't remember if they have play here or in Paris but that will be another huge game.

Agree with you on all points there Dawsey..........if the French turn up they are brilliant.....almost unbeatable.....however if their alter egos turn up???????
I think that they will be close to the top of the 6 Nations.......probably 2nd to England (Wales 3rd....Ireland...then yep...Italy/Scotland a mile behind them) however they are still too inconsistent for mine.....they looked good against the Aussies tho n'est pas............still most teams have so far in 2005
Wales......well I think that they have really dropped their intensity from last year and been shown to lack imagination by the Blacks + SA.............
But as I've said before here.......I support anyone who is playing SA............. but probably not as much as I did 20 years ago...........I have noticed that I am beginning to admire their Rugby now thay are playing a more expansive game......note to self......must fight that!
