We lived in phuket and this time it was no problem to get a job. But the most bad payed.
So we decided to go to germany.

We still stay together and now we have a little girl age 20 month. My wife worked as a
bargirl before, but i don`t care. A lot of girls just do this to support their families and to come out of their hometowns. To have some adventure, to see something new... There are good and bad girls everywhere. So in Thailand. But especially in the tourist areas there are many girls want to marry a farang. They think that farangs have more money and they can out of their poorness. But of course some of this girls fall in love really. And if you want to marry your girlfriend. Just do it.

After the year in thailand we went to germany and living here until today. Its a "normal" relationship not much different from the ones i had with european woman before. We have a lot of thais in germany here, so my wife does not feel alone. Send your girlfriend / wife to a language school and she will meet other thais. This will help her. (learning the thai language will be good for your realtionship, too).

Ask your embassy and your cityhall how to manage the marriage with your girlfriend. Then ask her to get the papers and she can come to you and marry in belgium. If she has problems to get the papers, ask an agency to help her. Think this is not a big problem. For me it was quite easy.

After three years my wife got a visa "for ever" to stay in germany and all other "schengen"-countries. Work permitt she got after marriage immediately.
My daughter has a passport from thailand and one from germany, so she can stay in both countries as long as she wants.

I work in informatics, too, but think if you want to have a good salary, you have to work in bangkok. I know many farangs loose a lot of money in thailand running business there. I would never run a business in thailand, but up to you...

If you want to know more, be free to email me...

Good luck for you.
Chock di khap!
