There are some valid reasons.. Charitable act not expecting anything in return, helping a girl go to school and change her life, to allow a girl you like to go home and take care of her kid instead of working bar, etc.. But just to send money to someone while they still work and stay in Patong.. I cant see the point myself.
Either you want a relationship to go further and so try the visa thing and family like ETV seems to be doing (and a few other BM's doing Thailands export trade  ) or just leave with the memories and see them next trip if they are still working. Sponsership while they work bar gains the sponser nothing in my eyes, the girl is still husband hunting, the girl is still in the bar, and all you get is heartache and headache for your generosity. |
I agree with what you say and have no issue on that, but it's the way it's written as if everyone who sends money is stupid and they should "get real". Who the fcuk is he to judge and preach like that ? That's what I am saying.
