Diz I dont think Crustacian was preaching but just saying how amazed he was at guys meeting a bg for one week and then sending money and expecting she will be waiting for them for the next 50 weeks. I can totally agree with him cos I also find that amazing however taking it further I do realise that there are not any generalisations that can be made about guys who do decide to do this, only odds are stacked against it turning out alright, although of course sometimes it does.
I think your reaction is coming from a different direction, I met you this trip for the first time, instantly liked you and we had some good old chats, yours and others experiences are not what he is amazed at. There are many newbies that do meet up and then instantly start sending money every month without having a fuller understanding or comparable experience to judge their decision on, this is nothing like your personal experience he's describing.
Getting back on thread, do the guys who that do send monies after knowing the girl for one week do it because in our terms it is only a small sum? because it makes them feel better financially helping a friend because they can? I just wondered if anyone that has done this, after thinking it all through might say their own reason. As Diz said we are all adults we make our own decisions just wanted to get the alternative opinion to my own for a better understanding.
