I got what I thought was a pretty good deal from guy on Beach Rd(opp. Hagen Das)for full-size Fireblade(not the CBR400)@1000bt/day. I reckon he was prepared to negotiate for longer rental but while I LOVED the bike it really didn't suit TG and was slightly less than practical - no storage & awkward to park etc. He insisted on having my passport though, wouldn't entertain photocopy. I wasn't best pleased but it worked out OK on this occasion. The bike wasn't new but was in superb order, black livery and clean as a whistle. I was staying on Nanai Rd and checked out the guy there(at least i think it's the same one LOS mentioned here already), he had a spanking R1, less than 5K on the clock and was looking 1500bt/day. BTW this was at the start of Nov. and probably not high-season. Good luck, can't wait to get back
