Lads before we go off on another track of how did they obtain the fare to phuket or detailing all the possible air fares let me clear up one little issue, I met them in Rat-u-thid road near to Sky Inn Residence, I refered to straight from the airpoort because it was to illustrate that they had arrived that day, clutching their little bags of wordly goods looking like lost sheep, fresh in from Issan, upon reflection I shouldn't have made reference to airport but didn't at the time personally consider that they would have arrived any other way and never asked, also because their english appeared almost non existent and they were more than a little frightened by the big bald farang meeting them, never got round to thinking or trying to find out how they had arrived in Phuket.
The point of my post was to illustrate sometimes there are other sides to consider in situations that we don't always know and perhaps we have all been guilty of assuming certain pieces of information add up to facts, but there is more to this story and we may learn from Mustang, although he may feel that to be private info. I will pm him to bring his attention to this thread and maybe a little more will be revealed.
