this dictionary is cool and it makes me laugh no end. English certainly does have alot of slang and odd phrases. An american friend always laughs at things we say that are everyday phrases but are just so bizarre to someone not from the UK. eg: "i haven't seen you for donkeys years" he said...what the fk is a donkeys year?!

Another one I picked up on my last contract working with Canadians was Fortnight! They had never heard of this word meaning two weeks! Ah well, once I explained that it originated a bit in thier country they were a little bit happier!

For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge is another one altogether! 555555
