Nope, I was just looking for some variety, items to ask for that will be more-or-less universally understood in most bars/gogos - if I ask for something too complex it takes too long to explain in a high noise environment and you usually get something unrecognisable. "Sprite" ("splite") or "Water" ("nam") are easy to bellow but not too palatable after the dozenth bar...
When I used to travel to the US (before the current regime took power) I would prepend the tern 'virgin' to a cocktail name (
e.g. virgin daiquiri) to get the alcohol free version (most times) - would this be understood in LOS or would I get an alcoholic drink and the newest girl in the bar served up?
