There was a dodge which worked for us about 6 years ago at The Royal Cliff, Pattaya
Instead of the high cost Xmas" compulsory " dinner I told them we were eating in their Italian Restaurant a la carte, and it was a quarter the cost,a lot better and they accepted the situation .and we could still watch the fireworks afterwards.
