Aia

spoke to a lot of expats in udon, they seem split between General and AIA.

I think if its connected with good international hospitals it just comes down to cost.

my gf pays about 1000 bt a month through her employer scheme for health cover AIA, but that covers her mother, brother, father and herself.

she also contributes to a "death cover policy" in which contributions change monthly due to the number of "payouts" for members in the scheme who die that month.

I think the payout figures is 180,000 per person covered.
not much to some farangs but common sense for thai village people.
