Seriously, you folks are very helpful, and I appreciate the info a ton.

Can anyone suggest a reputable travel agency in BKK? Its a lot cheaper to book onward travel in country...

I'll also browse through the hotels that have been mentioned before asking any questions here, but I normally stay in Pratunam, near Pantip Plaza...I'm thinking of moving somewhere closer to MBK/skytrain this time...I'm used to paying 1000-1200 baht per night, but I haven't worked out the budget this time...

Thanks again for all info, and especially the well-wishing. It has been a brutal month, so to say the support is appreciated doesn't suffice. I am hoping to salvage my relationship, but in reality I don't think it's going to happen. So I've got a lot of living to catch up on in LOS, before real-life returns with continued groin-kicks.
