The thing is when you come in a single generation from food wrappings being banana leaves and coconut shells to non biodegradeable materials and plastics it takes time to learn and condition people to the change.. I am not saying its right I am just pointing out that its not been something the parents have educated thier children on beacuse in the parents lifetimes it was not an issue..
I remember driving along in Samui on a scooter with Wifey, had just finished a gatorade or something and as I tried to put in it he basket she says 'here give it to me' as soon as I do she just lobbed it off the bike hook shot style straight off onto the pristine picture postcard beach or verge etc.. I was shocked and gave her the lecture but this is a smart well travelled lived in Europe years woman !!! They just dont seem to have heard that they cant just drop and chuck stuff that doesnt decompose.. She learnt after hearing it a few times..
