Can actually be quite night with an overnight before arrival in Thailand, then you probably get rid of most of the Jetlag before you arrive in Thailand. But i dont know if you get any Jetlag when flying from Oz.

I just know that i wouldnt mind spending the night at a hotel, like at Bahrain or in Dubai or something before continuing the flight for another 6 hours.
12 Hours fly time + the stopover about 1 hour makes you realy tired, and the conditions for sleeping in economy class is just not ideal

But atleast it was better then last time, Then we flew to Denmark from Sweden, had a 4 hour stopover waiting for the flight to Bangkok, now this was a direct flight and all, but then we had another 2 hours wait time in Bangkok for Phuket, so thats about 17-18 hours or so in flying time including the slack time at the airports.
