For ANYBODY to blow themselves, and innocent people to oblivion, there must be a deep rooted hatred of the 'other' people who are causing you to hate them.
Until we meet a person, and talk with them, then we are just as lunatic or crazy to think they are a bad person, just because they wear something on their heads.
It happens all over the world. Great Britain stands up and talks about world peace, and it cant even sort out its own mess in Ireland.
The USA massacred whole tribes of red indians.
Israel fights with Palestine.
It goes on and on......
The only thing that I have learnt on my 33 years on this planet, is -
when I travel, I meet some of the most interesting and funny people you could ever hope to meet. They have been, German, Scandanavian, Italian, Spanish, Irish, Indian, Australian.....
The list is endless.
If anything, I come home feeling more dissapointed with the way people behave in the UK more than I do the rest of the world.
People like ourselves (who are lucky enough to be able to travel) USUALLY see the world differently to the 'majority' back home.
Lets not generalise about 'rag head muslims' etc.
I would be reallt really hurt and upset if someone called me 'english shit bag', and they had never spent any time with me.

I have been reading this post and some of the others following it and Mike seems to have grasped the point perfectly. The Palestinians want one thing only.It has nothing to do with terrorising the west or rising up against the "Mc Donald" eaters.They want their land back.When the spineless British government helped create Israel in 1948,it was the Palestinians who were removed from their land,originally given to them for their help against the Turks in the 1st WW,fertile land, and forced to accept inferior homes to accomodate the poor Israelis who were scattered to all corners of the Earth.
They now have nothing.No homes to speak of,very few have work,and they cannot do anything about it military wise.I do NOT hold with the bombings and suicide attacks but to understand why its done you have to know Palestinians.I do.I used to visit Abu Dhabi in the UAE frequently.My sister is married to an Arab.They are the most hospitable race in their own country I have ever met.I have had many conversations with Palestinains who have been forced to move from their country and all they want is to go back and not be persecuted by the Israelis.I could get very deep into this but as I am packing soon to go to LOS tomorrow I will leave it till I come back.
