I arrive at BKK and clear immigration, go to domestic and check in, showing them my baggage receipt. Exactly right. I fly with China Airlines to BKK, go through immigration and walk to domestic for the Thai flight to Phuket. My luggage goes all the way to Phuket where you pick it up by the Internation Arrivals carousels.
