Most here seem to want to be tolerant and understanding of other races, religions, etc. - and that's good.
icray161 manages to bring this thread back to the BG by claiming that they are being threatened by everyone who hires them. At least I think thats what he's saying.
Yes, a vicious reality exists in many places, and the sex industry in Thailand is a prime example. There is no underestimating the pressures that some of these women are under. And to their credit so many of them handle it well (no pun intended).
I think that many of us go into these encounters/tours with good intentions and perhaps even a selfish belief that they can make a bad situation better. While this may be a flawed approach, I do maintain that its critical to be considerate of EVERYones feelings in the process. It does make a difference. You may not have any MORE fun than those who, "do not live under the pretense of always being considered..." or considerate, but you will at least be lessening the supposedly negative impact that youre creating.
