Main advice don't get too drunk and ride your motorbike,
Unfortunately seeing one of my friends who was very happy and good, two days later he got too drunk, crashed his bike and was a real mess.
There is no easy way to fall off your bike trust me he is in a bad way!
However please don't be put off.
The bike part in Koh Samui is a real plus point for me great fun and its fine, the freedom of it excellent jump on and its great! just drive sensible and your be ok.
150b for normal bike (gears)
200b for an automatic. Me automatic much better because of the stop starting you get due to the traffic.
Anyway in Phuket for 10 days looks good and have met Nicky,
Will give more detailed info later into my holidays or better still when home,

Glad to hear you are enjoying yourself and that you made it over there.
Regarding bikes, we do know already.
You must be careful on those things, if you have an accident which involves a thai, you will pay, not them. And for a bike that size, you have no insurance.
