Is Pattaya just as good a phuket or not? I hear pattayas night life is one of the best which is our number1 thing

Pattaya has the best nightlife. Bigger, more gil1s, much better gogo bars (around 60) and hundreds of beer bars.
and does pattaya have all the activitys that say phuket might have?
yes and also cheaper except the beach is rubbish..you will need to go Jomtien for example for a better beach experience.
and if booking somewhere to stay in pattaya, which "suburb"(i dont know if you guys call them suburbs in thailand LOL) would be the best location for us? close to nightlife etc.
Soi 6 or Soi 7 or Soi 8 for beer bar action...suggest Flipper Lodge
Soi 13..Sandy Spring Hotel..nearer to walking street where most of the action will be found.
In fact if you stay at any of the hotels along Beach Road, travelling should be no problem as there are plenty of baht buses going round...10 baht that's all.
falang/farang...doesn't apply to me I guess..more towards you white people foreigners.
