Seeing as you had a nice result at the weekend, I would suggest that if you really fancy it, then why not invest say, 20 euros and be prepared to lose it. However, if it were to come in, then it's another 150 euros for your next trip
Now, from a logical point of view, we have to look at several things.
First is Arsenal's home record in the league - they have won 9 of 11, scoring 27 and conceding just 4. The only team to beat them was Chelsea and the only teams to have stopped them scoring at home were Chelsea and ManYoo. West Ham are not a Chelsea or ManYoo !!
Second West Ham's away record in the league to date - won4 drawn 4 lost 4, scoring 14 and conceding 16. Hardly frightening is it ??
Current form (last 6 games) - Arsenal won 3 lost 3 and funnily enough the 3 won were at home and the 3 lost were away. West Ham Won 4 Lost 2, current sequence is 4 wins.
Previous results...
2002/2003
Arsenal 3 West Ham 1

2000/2001
Arsenal 3 West Ham 0
1999/2000

Arsenal 4 West Ham 0

1995/1996
Arsenal 1 West Ham 0
1994/1995 Arsenal 0
West Ham 1
1993/1994 Arsenal 0
West Ham 2
West Ham have scored just 2 goals in 8 previous meetings.
For me, being a West Ham supporter, I would have to admit that it does not look good and it would have to be "one of those things" if we were to win. Also bearing in mind that Arsenal have just been dumped out of both cups, I am expecting a "Gooner backlash" and can quite easily see West Ham get ripped to shreds by the likes of Henry, Pires, Reyes and van Persie. Arsenal will now be concentrating on the league and making sure that they finish in the top 4 (currently 5th).
As much as it pains me to say it, it's Arsenal for me.
However, if you are looking for a return and are prepared to invest that 20 euros, you could do worse than back...
Arsenal @ 3/10
ManYoo @ 10/11
Chelsea @ 1/2
Liverpool @ 1/3
There's a much more realistic chance of these four winning and the fourfold pays 3.96/1
And if you added Tottenham @ 6/4 to it as well, then you're looking at a return of 11.41/1. In fact the more I think about it, the more I am talking myself in to backing these 5 in a fivefold and 5 x fourfolds. If only 4 win, then you get the 3.96/1 and therefore most of your money back. If all 5 win then it's the same as 50/1 !!
