Interesting guy, Ozzie ex-pat but i didn't persue it as i already have TEFL cert. and don't need the course. Might be BS but sounded genuine enough, could be worth a look if you're interested. At least you'd be on the island while you study and get qualified.
Posted on this subject before but worth repeating - generally, salaries are not high in this field and debatable if it could be done comfortably if this is your only source of income IMO

Thanks, i have looked into it a bit with the whole thing and the general price seems to be around 30~k-50k baht in most places actually. Thats not bad considering this gives you a certificate that is valid all over the world. And as for the sallary, sure its not great, but if it could bring in 30-50k a month thats ok, and i can always use some of my own savings to make it a little more comfortable for a year, not that much required.
I just remembered LIL said it was 50k a month for a work permit, but i also heard that people with a bachelor can get around 80k working for an international school. So 50k should be doable i suppose?
