I also had my full medical check up today, but mine was slightly different, i arrived and found that nobody was expecting me although i had made the appointment 5 days before, had to sit for an hour before anyone came to see me.
Then the doctor could only speak portuguese, so another 20 minutes to find a translator, then it began with the usual weight/pulse/temp tests, (all were OK but i am slightly under height for my weight), then an ECG, the print out came and the doctors face had a strange look on it, obviously something wrong so he did another one, then a blood test for all sorts of stuff (probably cocaine and cannabis), then was handed 2 plastic tubs for the usual stuff, had a slash in the small one and was told to deliver the other one tomorrow.

Then the final part was a hearing test and an eye test, these were done in the back of an ambulance with cars passing all the time, and i had to press a button every time i heard a noise so i think he just told me i passed and showed me some sort of chart which could have been absolutly anything, then the eye test was those E things on a computer and i had to say which way they were pointing, sat about 3 yards away and surprisingly i passed that also .

The other thing i had to do was fill out the questionaire before i went in, one question:

Average alcohol consumption?

so i was thinking to myself, 3 weeks off, 21 days times lets say 14, thats 294, not much drink at work so i will forget about that, so that is 294 divided by 8 weeks equals 5.25 per day, final answer = 2

So all in all a good day, 4.5 hours in the clinic and no work managed

thank Fu*k the next one is 3 years away, assuming i have passed this one.
