Have you seen Wat Arun........with the marble tile pieces all over it.....great at suinrise/set as it really shines............
OR
The King's barges..........these are pretty fab and ornate too!!!!
They are both on the other side of the river to Bangkok proper
My favourite thing to do is just head down to the river and jump on a baht boat..............you can take a trip from Thaksin Bridge to the King's Palace for about 20BHT............or just kick around on one until you get sick of it...........make sure you stand up the back on the outside...much more fun
