Smile New PC at last

At long last I have upgraded my old PC.

I think the writing was on the wall when I lost my internet again for the umteenth time and then the router software refused to run

I could have got a tower made with my selection of components, but took the quick way out and got one with a pretty good spec.

Its a P4 3.8Gz 160GB HD &1mb RAM. Came with plenty of software,Norton Anti virus for 12months,and really flies after the miserable spec of the old one.I was told it had a dual Cpu but I wouldnt know.

I took out the PCI network card,60gb HD and CD rewriter and floppy drive from the old PC and will put them in shortly.
I copied all the files I wanted ,photos and favourites onto a USB memory stick and they have been copied to the new PC.

Using XP is certainly easier to set up the network connection and Im pretty pleased its only taken 3hrs from going to the shop for it.

Oh it set me back £460 without moniter which I thought pretty reasonable.
