I was stuck in the Yemen Diz, the hotel advertised as having an internet connection and when I asked I got a 10 mile stare. Being a 6 foot, strapping, slim, blue-eyed anglo-saxon walking around the capital Sanaa, looking for an internet cafe is not the done thing over there, so I missed my forecast.
I'm thinking a good thread might be - "The weird places I have used to submit my forecasts for Diz's Footy Comp" My bill in Dubai for 1 hours internet connection was a tenner! But well worth it when I am drinking my winnings at the MTB. I'll post pics for the losers.
Anyway, I needed to give the 'Also-rans' a bit of a chance. Hopefully I am back on track again after dropping from 4th to 8th!!!...............Sloblocks
