Bangkok vs. Phuket? Pros/Cons, Preferences?
OKAY, vets.
I'm planning my first LOS venture and not sure where to plant the rod. Phuket looks very cool, esp. after seeing that I could get a beach side resort room. Plus Nicke's bar, MTB, looks pretty cool too.
Does BK have something like that to offer? I'm preferring Phuket so far, but the direct flights there are much more expensive than to BK. Would it still be worth it to pay extra or is it cheaper to fly into BK then take a Thai Airways to island hop?
