My next trip will probably be using up my Nectar/air miles points and Emirates or Etihad look the best bet for that. Even for free I would hesitate to use KLM again.

Emirates definitely has booze and good quality booze (and food) too Barfly....I was offered french champagne + caviar in business......very pleasant

I too dislike KLM....I find the staff are rude and officious and the planes are out of the ark.............

I was once the only person in business going from Amsterdam to Madrid on KLM and I was going to a meeting with a business associate who had booked economy....when I asked if it would be possible for him to join me to discuss work after the food service was over the 7' tall dutch biatch who was in control of the cabin said to me "there are no free upgrades on KLM Sir"

I thought well feck you biatch and went down the back and sat with my colleague...............when I went back up after she asked me to return to my seat before landing there were about 8 people sitting in business ????......

On the way out the biatch had the temerity to say to me "goodbye.........I hope you enjoyed your flight Sir" and smiled......I said "no actually.....and all because of You" and just walked off..........since then I have never to flown with KLM again
