Even the sweet suite isn't that expensive really IMHO.
I like the place and even though I have looked at alternatives in and around Bangla, I will probably end up at Patong Villa on my next trip over.

I second that. I been staying at Patong Villa twice now and both times I had a great time. No problems what so ever and the staff were friendly to me and my gf.
Will definetly stay there again next time I go to Patong.
