I agree with Steve, every player must be responsible for his own actions and he was guilty of kicking out when he felt he had been fouled - that's what the officials are there for, you can't have players taking the law into their own hands.
Luke - you made some good points earlier about reasons for not changing the points system etc, I suppose in a way this sums up the problem, if you do make any changes there will no doubt be other areas/concerns regardless of what those changes are. It's a real tough nut to crack and I just hope this style of rugby is just going through a phase and we will see a bit more "running rugby" in the near future.
