This is what my husband has proposed for the job after the interview: $3000 (although if they put it down to 2500 we MIGHT accept), housing, medical insurance, relocation fees and flights home (Paris or Madrid) once a year.

When you said 2500 I figured that as the full package.. Thats 100k per month or about 10 - 20x a Thai salary.. Thats livable and I kind of expected that to be about right though I have no idea what hotel chefs generally get paid or what level he is at..
Adding in medical and housing and relocation and flights (for a family) would make that a superb package if he can get it.. I personally think it will be higher than most hotels would pay but depends on the venue and skills..
