Unless western people are worth less then asian people in the buddhist religion. But that i very much doubt without even knowing alot about it.

How about if the upside down truck which you stopped to help has dead people in it and the survivors say you ran it off the road? How about if you try to help someone who is trapped and he dies in your arms? The survivors will all say he was fine until you started messing with him maybe?
There are a million 'what ifs' and if you don't ask yourself a few before getting into a situation you could have a great deal of trouble getting out of it.
Life is worth less in some places, and don't forget that that means your life too.
